Who runs this site
Okurimono Japan (okurimonojapan.com) is an independent, personally run website based in Tochigi, Japan. It is not a shop: it publishes guides and links to products sold by third-party retailers in Japan. Contact: hello@okurimonojapan.com.
What we collect
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect names, addresses or payment details — purchases happen on the retailer’s site under their own privacy policy.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read. It sets cookies and records anonymized usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). IP addresses are not stored in a form that identifies you.
Affiliate links and cookies
Product links on this site are affiliate links to Discovery Japan Mall (Digital Studio Co., Ltd.) and, via the Awin network, to other Japanese retailers. When you click one, the retailer or network may set a cookie so that a purchase within a set period is credited to this site. This does not change the price you pay and does not give us any personal information about you.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time; the site works without them. To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, use Google’s opt-out browser add-on. If you contact us by email, we keep your message only as long as needed to reply.
